20 Wochen alte männliche und weibliche Ratten wurden getrennt für 90 Tage bei einem 50 Hz (23-27 µT) Magnetfeldexponiert. Nach der Exposition wurde jedes exponierte Männchen mit zwei nicht-exponierten, jungfräulichen Weibchen gepaart und jedes exponierte Weibchen mit einem nicht-exponierten Männchen. Nach einer 10-tägigen Paarungszeit wurden die Weibchen auf die Fruchtbarkeit hin untersucht.
