Oncology. Uveal melanoma comprises melanomas of ciliary body, iris and choroid. It is the most common primary intraocular malignant tumor in adults. It is a rare tumor with an incidence of about 1/100,000 population per year. Light iris color seems to be a risk factor for uveal melanoma.
