Published in: Mutat Res Genet Toxicol Environ Mutagen 1997; 393 (1-2): 151-156

Aim of study (acc. to author)

To investigate the effects of 935.2 MHz radiofrequency fields alone and in combination with mitomycin C treatment on human blood lymphocytes after exposure of human whole blood samples in vitro.

Main outcome of study (acc. to author)

No direct cytogenetic effect was found. The combined exposure of the cells to the radiofrequency fields followed by their cultivation in the present of mitomycin C revealed a very weak effect when compared to cells exposed to mitomycin alone.
