Cardiology. The time period of the electrocardiogram (ECG)
from the beginning of the P wave to the beginning
of the QRS complex. The PR interval represents the time between the onset of atrial depolarization and the onset of ventricular depolarization. It is also called PQ interval if a Q wave is observable. It normally ranges from 120 - 200 ms in duration.
