Communications engineering. This digital variation of Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) was developed around 1960. Its characteristic is the shift keying being done at the zero point of the modulating wave. FFSK needs only an extremely small bandwidth and is used for example in Nordic Mobile Telephone (NMT).
