Published in: Knave B, Widebäck PG (eds.): Work with display units 86 : selected papers from the International Scientific Conference on Work With Display Units, Stockholm, Sweden, May 12-15, 1986. Elsevier, Amsterdam, North-Holland, 1987; pp. 135-140; ISBN 978-0-444-70171-8

Aim of study (acc. to author)

To study whether magnetic fields with a asymmetrical sawtooth waveform could influence the early development of chick embryos.

Background/further details

285 fertilized eggs were divided into the exposure group (n=149) and control group (n=136). Exposure eggs were exposed to three different magnetic flux densities (0.1, 1.5 and 16 µT) during the first two days of development.
