Chamber | Anechoic room /2.55 m x 1.8 m x 2.9 m |
Setup | Animals were kept in round plastic cages (5 cm high, 23 cm diameter) |
Additional info | Cages were divided into 10 seperate boxes. Control anilmals were placed for the same period in identical cages. |

---|---|---|---|---|---|
SAR | 4.23 mW/g | mean | calculated | cf. remarks | +/- 0.63 W/kg |
power density | 30 W/m² | mean | measured | - | time averaged in the center of the cage |

Overall no differences in body weight, mortality, organ weight and protein content of brain and liver were found between CW and AM exposed animals, respectivily, compared to control groups. The activity of aminoacyl tRNA synthetase isolated from brain of CW exposed animals was significantly decreased, whereas the enzym activity from liver was significantly increased in CW and AM exposed animals. No altered activity was found for the enzym isolated from brain of AM exposed animals.
