Distance between exposed object and exposure source
0.43 m
Setup
The rabbits were kept at a room temperature of 25°C. Their heads were fixed so that the distance between the exposedeye and the microwave generator was kept constant at 43 cm. One eye was exposed while the other eye served as control. The eye used for control was shielded by covering it with a copper grid cloth. The rabbits were conscious and their eyes were open during the whole experiment.
